Histology of follicular carcinoma. 
Follicular carcinomas consist of neoplastic colloid-containing follicles of varied sizes, separated by a thick fibrous capsule from normal thyroid parenchyma. The lumen of a large venous sinusoid in the capsule is almost filled by a plug of invasive tumour.
